The Italian expedition in the Red Sea was concluded since few months, and at the Venice Film Festival in 1954 was presented the Sixth Continent movie of Bruno Vailati, which documented it. It was the first color underwater feature film never realized before, preceding of two years the Cousteau movie The Silent World; the diffusion in France of its presentation pamphlet had, at that time, a taste of challenge.
